Hellooooooo - I'm Tiff

Hello, my name is Tiff - you may have come across me before. I'm the one who sends out newsletters from the MASTT website and likes to get involved in many of the projects that we have running. I've been involved in MASTT since I graduated in 2008, I do things like fiddling with the website, organising projects and lots of other things I'm interested in.

I'm involoved in the group because I have a passion for environmental issues and as the scope of 'Transition' is so massive, there is always a variety of projects you can get involved in (if they are already up and running) or start up a project yourself. I organised an ethical fashion show in 2009 with two lovely ladies called Jenni and Dawn over 6 very long (but worthwhile) months. As this event was so successful, I got together with some more ladies and started organising clothes swaps - we've had 4 fantastic swaps so far. The next question is where to go from here! I've played with the idea of doing Make, Do & Mend workshops, but without the skills myself, I'm in need of a sewing guru.  So any offers great appreciated :-) I'd like to get an active communication subgroup for MASTT up and running, to think about how be promote the group in the local community and online. If anyone fancies joining me in this, please send me a message via the website.

I've also been involved in Foodie things like seed swaps, produce swaps, our community orchard, the Colne Valley Food Festival and grow your own workshops.
All of which helped me gain experience and confidence in myself, which I've found valuable in helping me apply for jobs. I guess my main message is that whatever your interests are, there will always be something you can get involved in.

So that's me, Thanks for reading.
